Android Watch App

This is a Beta version or Prototype of the App.  It is a work in progress.

We have received requests from many people asking if there could be a 'smart app' for mobile devices that mimics the tapping technique, leading to the creation of the BeechBand App. Currently, this app is available exclusively for Android (Wear OS) watches.

Please watch this video.  It is 11 minutes long.  It answers SO many questions.

If you have a Google smartwatch (Pixel) or a Samsung Galaxy Watch, you can download the app from the Play Store. Please refer to the list of compatible devices at the bottom of this post.

To use the app, simply download it, then go to the apps on your smartwatch and select the BeechBand app. From there, you can start or stop the BeechBand.  We appreciate your feedback!

FEEDBACK

User feedback is invaluable as we continue to develop the BeechBand. We kindly ask that you complete the survey after using the device for a few hours. This will help us gather more insights into its functionality and how users interact with it.

Additionally, if you feel comfortable, we would greatly appreciate any videos or testimonials demonstrating how the BeechBand is benefiting you. You can send those to q@beechband.com to let us know if the app works for you and under what conditions.

If you find the free version helpful, you can purchase the full app for £5.99 (or the equivalent in your currency) or sign up for the device (available in the UK only at this time).

FAQ'S FOR THE APP

Which Android Watches is the App Compatible With?  The App is compatible with the following Android watches: Google Pixel Watch 1-3, Google Fitbit Ace LTE, Samsung Galaxy Watch FE, Ultra, Classic, 5, 5 PRO, 6, 7, XIAOMI 2, and OnePlus 2, X, 2R.

Will it Work on an Apple Watch?

No.

Will it Work on a Fitbit?

Primarily no. However, Google indicates that it is compatible with the Fitbit Ace LTE.

How Do I Know if It Will Work on My Watch?

To check compatibility, visit the Google Play Store, select your watch from the dropdown menu (top left) where it says, ‘This Device,’ and search for Beechband. It should indicate whether the app is compatible with your device.

It Says It’s Not Compatible?

IMPORTANT: Ensure you have selected your watch in the Play Store, as it defaults to your phone/tablet’s ‘This Device.’ Compatibility is specific to your watch, not your tablet or phone.

I Have an Android Watch and Apple Phone.

Unfortunately, you need an Android phone to download the app.

Will It Help with My Specific Issue?

We believe the BeechBand App can benefit most users. Some experience dramatic improvements, while others notice more subtle gains. Individual results may vary. We have seen users with chronic conditions, including neurological symptoms, find relief from issues such as gait disturbances, speech difficulties, tics, and essential tremors. Carl developed this technique to alleviate his Parkinson's symptoms. Our website features videos of individuals with MS, Tourette's, anxiety, and benign essential tremor who have found relief.

How Do I Know if It Will Help?

Watch the videos or download the FREE trial version first.

Why Does It Stop After a While?

If you are using the trial version, it will stop after 2 hours from first use (not continuous use). For the paid version, check the battery management settings, as some options may aggressively terminate applications that have been inactive for a while.

It Doesn’t Work?

Please let us know the details of the issue at q@beechband.com

It Works Really Well!

We'd love to hear your feedback! Please share the details at q@beechband.com

What About a Cheap Android Watch?

Most inexpensive smartwatches do NOT run on Android. Be cautious when searching for budget smartwatches; many claim compatibility with Android/iOS but refer to the phone, not the watch itself.

I Installed the App; How Do I Use It?

On your watch, navigate to Apps and select the BB app icon to launch it. When opened, it will display either a GREEN START button or a RED STOP button. You can control it from there.

How Do I Stop It?

Press the RED STOP button if it is displayed. If it’s not visible (as it may be ‘backgrounded’ by Android after some time), go to the app listing, select the BB icon again to bring it back into view, and then press STOP.

How Do I Uninstall the App?

Go to Apps, select BB, and hold down until prompted to uninstall. Then, press OK/YES.

Will You Be Developing an Apple Watch App?

Possibly. We are unsure if Apple permits the type of vibration we need. We will keep you updated. Please sign up for our newsletter on our website.

Will You Be Releasing Other Versions of the App?

Yes, we will keep you informed. Please sign up for our newsletter on our website.

How Will the App Affect My Watch's Battery Life?

The App consumes significant battery power while in use, making it more suitable for occasional rather than continuous use for severe symptoms. It is not as powerful as the band, so it works best for less intense symptoms.

Have Detailed Medical Trials Been Conducted?

We are currently conducting medical trials based on this unique tapping technique developed by Carl, which has significantly alleviated his symptoms. We are committed to completing these trials.

How Long Should I Wear It?

We recommend wearing the band during key moments when you seek relief, rather than throughout the day. You may notice a temporary increase in symptoms immediately after use.

What Age is Best for the BeechBand App?

The App is suitable for all ages; however, we advise consulting your doctor for specific guidance. We recommend it for individuals aged 12 and older.
